As a Senior Data Engineer, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with business leaders, engineers, and product managers to understand data needs. Your main responsibility will be to extract, transform, and load data from various sources using cloud-native data engineering principles. You will design, build, and scale data pipelines across different systems and streams, including internal, third-party, and cloud-based sources. Additionally, you will identify and implement process improvements, automate manual tasks, optimize data delivery, and enhance scalability.

In this role, you will also be tasked with implementing design patterns to optimize performance, cost, security, and end user experience. You will actively participate in development sprints, demos, and retrospectives, as well as release and deployment activities. Building strong relationships with supporting IT teams will be crucial to effectively deliver work products to production.

To qualify for this position, you should have at least 5 years of experience in a data engineering role. You should also have a strong analytical mindset and experience in delivering data analytics solutions. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential as you will be interacting with individuals at all levels of the organization, both technical and non-technical. Lastly, you should thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments and be able to make quality decisions amidst ambiguity.
