The Mission

Job Title: Head of Data Science & Analytics

Location: North America (Remote)

Are you a skilled data leader with a passion for solving complex business problems? TIDAL, a leading artist and fan platform, is seeking an experienced Head of Data Science & Analytics to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape our data strategy, drive insights that guide our roadmap, design decisions, and marketing strategies. We are looking for someone who can effectively manage our newly centralized Data Science and Analytics team and collaborate closely with our central data and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Shape our data strategy and establish excellence in solving business problems
  • Develop insights that guide our roadmap, design decisions, and marketing strategies
  • Lead company-wide goals and initiatives within the Product organization
  • Establish connections with foundational engineering teams to leverage best practices and advocate for support
  • Drive the design and delivery of analytics deliverables, such as dashboards, deep-dive analysis, measurement frameworks, and attribution rigor
  • Provide insights on segmentation valuation, conversion funnel insights, and value measurement (LTV)
  • Build and maintain critical data infrastructure alongside our dedicated data engineering team
  • Utilize your experience in experiment design to drive innovative solutions

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading data science and analytics teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Experience in designing and delivering analytics deliverables
  • Familiarity with data infrastructure and data engineering concepts
