The Mission

Join the exciting team at SportyBet as a Frontend Engineer and be part of a company that consistently ranks among Alexa's list of top websites in the countries we operate in. As a SportyBet Frontend Engineer, you will have the opportunity to develop mobile-first, responsive front ends that are used by millions of users every day.

In this role, you will work with the latest technology, specifically VueJS, as we built our frontend from scratch just three years ago. Say goodbye to old, spaghetti code and hello to a modern and streamlined development process.

We are hiring for both Mid and Senior level positions, so whether you are an experienced frontend expert or looking to take your skills to the next level, we have opportunities for you.

Your typical day-to-day tasks will include developing mobile-first frontends in VueJS, focusing on performance and user experience. You will also create frontends for our backend management systems, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, team ceremonies, and mentor less experienced team members.

To succeed in this role, you should have familiarity with at least one frontend framework such as Vue, React, or Angular. Experience with Git, ES6, Webpack, Less or Sass, and NodeJS is also important. Knowledge of state management frameworks like Vuex, Redux, or Ngrx is a plus. Excellent communication skills are a must, and any knowledge of backend stack will be highly regarded.

The interview process consists of a HackerRank test, followed by a remote interview with two Engineers and a Lead or Director. Throughout the process, we provide prompt feedback within 24-72 hours.

At SportyBet, we understand the importance of work-life balance, which is why we offer flexible working hours. We also provide top-of-the-line equipment, an education allowance, and generous bonuses. With 28 days of paid annual leave, you'll have time to relax and recharge. And don't forget our annual Global and Team company retreats - in 2022, we're headed to Lisbon and Dubai!

Join our global, multicultural organization and work with highly talented and dependable co-workers. Our teams are small, allowing for maximum impact, and we pride ourselves on offering stability and security to our team members.

Ready to take your frontend development skills to the next level? Apply now and be part of the SportyBet success story!
